Costa Teguise

Just 15 minutes’ drive from the capital of Arrecife, sun-kissed Costa Teguise is a purpose-built holiday resort which offers everything necessary for an easy and simple holiday, and even boasts royal approval as King Carlos of Spain has a property here.

Highlight of the resort is the long and sandy Playa de las Cucharas beach, where sunbeds can be hired and shops, restaurants and bars line the sands. A little further out, the smaller Playa de los Charcos and Playa del Jabillo offer quieter options, with the latter offering great snorkelling opportunities in its sheltered waters.

The heart of the resort, especially by night, is the Pueblo Marinero, a plaza filled with restaurant and shopping options, designed in collaboration with César Manrique and inspired by traditional Canarian fishing villages.

Children are sure to enjoy Costa Teguise as it is home to the island’s largest waterpark, Aquapark, which offers a wide selection of slides and a lagoon for swimming.
