Alcudia & Playa du Muro

Situated in the north east of the Island, Alcudia and Playa du Muro are twin resorts that offer everything for an enjoyable holiday. Sitting side by side along the same stretch of attractive coastline, it’s difficult to tell where one resort ends, and the next begins.

The long and sandy beach stretches almost 11km from the historic marina and former fishing village of Puerto Alcudia in the north of the bay, to the small laid back resort of Can Picafort to the south. The beach is part of a nature reserve and offers calm clear waters, perfect for paddling. Watersports are very popular in this area and there is a great selection of beachfront bars and cafes.

2km inland from the coastal resorts sits the medieval walled town of Alcudia, easily accessible on foot or by public bus, and filled with narrow cobbled streets leading to sun-dappled squares, traditional Spanish cafes and gift shops. With a market twice weekly this is a must for a cultural day out just a short hop from the beachfront hotels.
