Los Cristianos

The main port on Tenerife's southern coast, Los Cristianos is a traditional fishing harbour that has developed into a busy holiday resort. Fishing boats have generally been replaced with yachts and tour boats, but the town has retained much of its charm and still offers the chance to enjoy fantastic local food, relax outside a street cafe, or sample a drink or two in the laid back bars.

Los Cristianos features two beaches. Los Cristianos Beach is a relaxed affair with dark sand, tucked away by the pier and offering calm water in which to bathe. In contrast, Playa de las Vistas, on the other side of the bay, is all about cocktail bars and watersports.
