Flying Direct to Portugal from the Isle of Man

2025 Programme - Coming Soon

For our 2024 and 2025 Portugal programme direct from the Isle of Man we are pleased to welcome you onboard with BA CityFlyer. You will enjoy a quick flight of around 3 hours onboard one of BA CityFlyer’s Embraer E190 jets. The seating configuration for this plane is a 2 x 2 layout with seats numbered AB-CD across one row.

2025 Flight Timetable

Departures from the Isle of Man will be on Saturdays starting on the 10th May 2025 until 26th July 2025 when the final flight will depart the Isle of Man for Portugal, returning on Saturday 2nd August. Stays are available for weekly durations for 7 nights or more subject to availability.

2025 Programme:

Check-in opens from 2 hours prior to scheduled departure time in the Isle of Man, and 2.5 hours prior to departure in Portugal and minimum check-in time for all flights is 1 hour prior to departure.

For flight only customers please check our website 24 hours prior to departure where any change in the scheduled departure time will be clearly posted.

Final flight details for all FlyDirect departures will be shown on your pre-departure information issued by email approximately 1 week prior to departure. If you have not received this email by the date 5 days prior to your departure, please contact our office.

Occasionally, we might have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date.

Luggage

20kg of hold luggage and one cabin bag up to 10kg (maximum 56cm length x 45cm width x 25cm height including wheels and handles) is included in your flight price.

Any additional items, such as a handbag or laptop bag/briefcase, must be carried within this single item of cabin baggage and the overall weight must not exceed 10kg in total.

For any oversized bags, any excess weight will be charged at the airport’s current excess baggage fee each way. This will be applied and paid at check-in. Alternatively an additional suitcase of up to 20kg can be booked in advance, at a cost of £60 return. Please contact our team on 03301 344 733 for more information or to book. Please note that all luggage in addition to the standard allowance is carried subject to final load on the day.

Infants under 2 years of age are entitled to 10kg and in addition can take a pushchair and/or car seat.

Extra Legroom Seats

On Portugal flights there is the option to upgrade to extra legroom seats for only £50 per person return.

A limited number of seats are available per departure and are subject to availability at time of upgrade request. These seats carry restrictions as to who can occupy specific seats due to safety criteria. Please call our team on 03301 344 733 to discuss. Restrictions may include:

• Infants under the age of 2
• Children under 12 years
• Disabled passengers
• Mobility impaired passengers
• Pregnant passengers
• Passengers requiring an extension belt
• For emergency exit rows you must be able to speak and understand English or Portuguese

Catering

BA CityFlyer will be providing a complimentary drink and snack on board this service for our clients travelling to Portugal.

There is no buy on board service available, however passengers are welcome to take food & soft drinks purchased in the airport on board with them.

Travelling with Golf Clubs

Golf Clubs and properly packaged bicycles can be carried on our Portugal service. The charge is £60 per item return, and this is payable to FlyDirect at the time of booking.
